A Sample part of Shera Story:The day progressed routinely with Lisa and Homer eating their breakfast, ready to start their day. Bart, on the other hand, was nowhere to be seen. 'BART!!' yelled out Marge. 'YOU'LL BE LATE TO SCHOOL! WHERE ARE YOU?'A momentary silence was followed by a very tired Bart Simpson walking into the kitchen, still in his pyjamas. He looked sleep deprived and could barely stand up on his two little feet.'Young man, why are you not ready for school?' questioned Marge, anticipating one of Bart's whacky excuses.'I don't feel too good mom, can I please stay home today?' he replied in a weak voice.'HAH!' exclaimed Lisa. 'You don't honestly believe mom's gonna fall for that one!''But...I'm serious. Mom, you gotta believe me.'Marge stood still for a while, next to the stove. Her glare at Bart turned sympathetic as she walked towards him, knelt down and felt his forehead. 'Hmm, you're right,' Marge said. 'Your head is burning.''Aww come on!' Lisa said. 'Mom, you can't honestly believe him.''No Lisa,' Marge replied. 'He really is sick. I know when Bart is telling the truth and when he is lieing.' Marge turned to Bart. 'Bart, go back to bed honey. You need plenty of rest.'A few minutes passed when the school bus honked its horn outside the house, alarming not only Lisa to get on the bus, but also Homer to start heading to work.'Bye Mom,' said Lisa, as she ran out the door. |
